Hello There
My name is Geoff Carty aka @gingybeast (IG) and thank you for making the trip to www.conkuerclothing.com where we are raising Mental Health Awareness through our clothing brand and donating to mental health resources. I want Conkuer Clothing to be known as the Mental Health brand, making a difference amongst those who struggle. For Conkuer to be seen & worn and recognized in society as a loudspeaker for all to know that they are not alone in their struggle and that people do not have to suffer in silence.
When it comes down to knowing the struggle people face with mental health & illness, I know it very well. I have 25yrs work experience in the mental health field professionally with the homeless, casework/crisis de-escalation with incarcerated youth & adult (most who suffer from some form of mental illness). I have also worked with special needs youth in the community, and I have done public speaking about my own mental health issues.
Personally, I have been diagnosed with severe PTSD, night terrors, anxiety and battles with depression, stemming from childhood and my adult life. I am aware personally & professionally that there is a severe lack of help & resources available to people in need. I am also aware of the enormous stigma society has created surrounding the topic of mental health in which we need to break for a conversation about mental illness to become of the norm for everyone.
I have lost too many friends and family to suicide; I've seen too many people choose to leave this earth of their own will; this must change. People struggling feel as though they are a burden, misfits and could be or have been ostracized for reaching out to get help. I know the feeling ... I struggle and I battle hard, these are feelings that I have had and battled through.
My heart and passion are Conkuer Clothing, my goal is to help others realize they are not alone in this battle, and if they choose, they need not suffer in silence. I came up with the idea for “CONKUER ;” along with a friend one day on the sidewalk a few years back. I was thinking how I can raise awareness and give back to the resources that are available and help people in need ...Conkuer Clothing was then born. The dream for Conkuer Clothing is to be able one day to donate to mental health resources worldwide but I cannot do this on my own. I need all of you to help spread the word of “CONKUER ;” and our mission. At some point in your life be it you, a friend or family member could be affected with some form of mental illness and will need or require the use of resources we at Conkuer Clothing are trying to support to.
Thank you to all the support Conkuer Clothing has received worldwide from all the positive messages to the purchasing of our merchandise and all those liking/reposting our social media to spread the word about us. You have no idea how much it all means to me and keeps me pushing each day to make Conkuer Clothing reach its goals.

WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
CONKUER CLOTHING isn’t your average clothing brand. Started in November 2019, it is a tool used to broadcast a message that impacts everyone. The goal of Conkuer Clothing is to help remove the stigma of mental health for those who suffer daily. To remind everyone struggling that they are not alone in their battle and no longer need to suffer in silence.
Issues such as bullying, addiction, anorexia, verbal abuse, and physical abuse are all factors that can lead to challenges with mental health and need to be addressed. Conkuer Clothing will not rid the world of mental health problems, but together we can help those struggling to find the courage to speak up and seek help for themselves. We can make a difference!
By supporting the Conkuer Clothing brand, you help magnify our message of support and awareness for those who are suffering. #MENTALHEALTH should never be considered a weakness! The more we talk about mental health in public forums, the faster we can rid ourselves of the judgment associated with it.

In our first year, we proudly donated multiple times to the Royal Ottawa Hospital & the Ottawa Mental Health Gala. With this new website and the ability to provide you with more options for Conkuer Clothing products, we hope to donate more often with help from your purchases.
